Blastline Breathing Air Filter Cartridge Replacement
The Blastline Breathing Air Filter Cartridge Replacement is designed to supply clean and safe breathable air for operators working in abrasive blasting and other industrial environments. The cartridge helps remove oil mist, moisture, odours, and harmful contaminants from compressed air systems, ensuring reliable respiratory protection and improved safety for workers.

Important Warning
Note: These filter cartridges do not remove Carbon Monoxide (CO) or other toxic gases. OSHA requires the use of an approved breathing air compressor when using air-supplied respirators.
Filter Cartridge Replacement Guidelines
- The filter cartridge should be inspected weekly or more frequently, depending on usage and operating conditions.
- Replace the filter cartridge immediately if the following signs appear:
- Contamination or visible discolouration of the cartridge.
- Presence of unpleasant odour or taste in the supplied air.
- Moisture present at the outlet fittings.
- Large pressure drop in the system.
- Recommended replacement period is every three months based on a standard 40-hour work week.
Cartridge Replacement Procedure
- Shut off the air supply to the unit and drain all air from the system.
- Remove the bolts from the lid and separate the lid from the body.
- Remove the used cartridge and dispose of it according to appropriate disposal procedures.
- Clean the inside of the filter body to remove any contaminants.
- Insert the new filter cartridge.
- Replace the lid and tighten the bolts diagonally to ensure proper sealing.
- Record the installation date on the supplied sticker and attach it to the filter body.
